Anella Bayshtok, MD

Dr. Bayshtok is a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist. Dr. Bayshtok has more than twenty five years of radiation oncology experience. Her areas of expertise include the treatment of breast, lung, prostate, colon, skin and gynecological cancers.

Dr. Bayshtok received her medical degree from the Medical School of LVOV, Ukraine, where she graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Bayshtok served her residency in radiation oncology at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, where she was subsequently appointed Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology and was placed in charge of the breast cancer treatment program. Dr. Bayshtok is also a consulting Radiation Oncologist at Community Hospital/Cornell.

Dr. Bayshtok speaks Ukrainian, Russian and Polish.

Fluent in Mandarin, Dr. Winson Chen grew up in New York City and has served patients in the area for over a decade. Throughout his career, he’s enjoyed building relationships with patients in the community he’s always called home. Dr. Chen’s commitment to community medicine and fluency in Mandarin means he’s ready to serve the Chinese community—and all patients—in New York City!

As a Radiation Oncologist who has spent most of his career in outpatient settings, Dr. Chen has experience treating a variety of different cancers, including prostate, breast, and lung. He’s ready to bring individualized, compassionate care to patients in our community.

Walter Choi, MD

Dr. Choi is a Board-certified Radiation Oncologist. Previously, he served as the Director of Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy for Mount Sinai Health System at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and Mount Sinai West, as well as an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology. He is a highly regarded expert in the field of targeted radiotherapy, including stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy, and brachytherapy, with a particular interest in the treatment of cancers of the lung, prostate, breast, gastrointestinal system, central nervous system, as well as tumors of the eye and orbit.

Dr. Choi received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn. After a medical internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, he returned to complete a residency in Radiation Oncology at SUNY Downstate, and subsequently completed fellowships in stereotactic radiosurgery and brachytherapy at Beth Israel/Roosevelt Hospital and Montefiore Medical Center.

Dr. Choi is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American Brachytherapy Society, the Korean American Society for Radiation Oncology, the New York Roentgen Society, the Connective Tissue Oncology Society, and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.

Paul Gliedman, MD

Dr. Gliedman brings over two decades of experience as an attending physician at Mount Sinai Health System. Previously, he served as the Director of Radiation Oncology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Brooklyn and as an attending physician at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospitals in New York City.

Before joining Continuum Cancer Centers – Mount Sinai Health System, Dr. Gliedman was a director of radiation oncology at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Dr. Gliedman has extensive experience in managing cancer of the prostate, breast, lung, central nervous system, and gastrointestinal cancers. He has developed active cancer programs in prostate radioactive send implantation (Brachytherapy) and stereotactic radiosurgery.

Dr. Roberto Lipsztein completed his medical degree at the University State of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He then completed his postdoctoral training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, followed by a fellowship and residency in Radiation Oncology. He is a Clinical Professor of Radiation Oncology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Lipsztein is board-certified in Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Lipsztein has extensive experience in managing cancer of the prostate, breast, lung, central nervous system, and gastrointestinal cancers. He has developed active cancer programs in prostate radioactive send implantation (Brachytherapy) and stereotactic radiosurgery.

Michael S. Brodherson, MD

Dr. Brodherson has been in the private practice of urology on New York’s Upper East Side since 1979 when he finished his training at Lenox Hill Hospital. He is known throughout the New York metropolitan area as a highly skilled, capable and compassionate general urologist with vast expertise in his field. Besides a full office practice, he has a special interest in the urologic care and treatment of complex surgical and gynecological operative procedures involving urology secondarily. Since Dr. Brodherson has extensive experience in open urologic procedures, he is an ideal expert consultant for these complicated cases of other specialties and is well known to be available on an emergency basis for immediate consultation in such matters.

He has served as the interim chair of the department of urology at Lenox Hill Hospital. He also serves as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Gramercy Surgery Center in New York where he performs ambulatory procedures for his patients.

Sherman Chan, MD

Dr. Sherman Chan is a board certified urologist practicing in New York City.  He completed his medical education at SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, NY with Distinction in Research and his surgical and urology training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.  He has been in private practice since 2011 in New York City and Long Island.  He maintains privileges at Gramercy Surgery Center where he serves at the Director of Urology at the Queens location, Maimonides Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital, NYU Langone Hospital, and the One Brooklyn Health System and affiliated hospitals. 

He treats patients for a variety of urologic conditions including benign and malignant diseases of the urinary tract, elevated PSA, Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH), kidney stones, voiding dysfunction, hypogonadism, infertility, erectile dysfunction and male reproductive health.  He is an expert in prosthetic urology for the treatment of sexual and erectile dysfunction and incontinence.  He has been designated a Urolift Center of Excellence for his expertise and outstanding outcomes in the treatment of BPH.

A skilled and experienced urologist, Dr. Errol Mallett caters to the locals of Brooklyn and Queens, NY. A board certififed urologist, Dr. Albert Leung is an alumnus of the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where he received his master's degree in medical imaging sciences and his medical degree. Dr. Leung went on to complete an internship and residency in general surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, followed by another residency in urology at the same institution.

Dr. Leung is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is also an active member of the American Urological Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, and the American Medical Association. He takes a genuine interest in researching and educating himself on various new advancements in his field of specialization, so his patients get the best and the most advanced treatment possible.

Fluent in multiple languages, Dr. Leung currently practices at Vantage Medical Group, located in Flushing, NY. He also attends to patients at New York Hospital Queens and Flushing Hospital Medical Center.  Anna Gattani M.D. is a board certified medical oncologist and internist with over 30 years of experience in patient care. Jeffrey S. Aronoff, M.D. is board-certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery and General Surgery. He received a BA in biology from Rutgers University where he was a Henry Rutgers Scholar, an MS in physiology from Georgetown University, and his Medical Degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

He did his internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and completed his residency in general surgery at the State University of New York Downstate. His Fellowship was completed in colon and rectal surgery at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center (Penn State University).

Dr. Aronoff presently is an attending physician in Colon and Rectal surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital. He is actively involved in teaching residents, medical students, and physician assistants.

Dr. Aronoff’s practice is dedicated to the treatment of both benign and malignant disease of the colon, rectum, and anus. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery. He has authored many peer review articles, and several book chapters. He is annually selected as a patients’ choice physician award recipient and a compassionate physician award recipient.

Dr. Aronoff is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.

Charlene Chao, MD

Dr. Chao is a fellowship trained general surgeon specializing in breast and bariatric surgery. Dr. Chao also performs a full range of general surgery including gallbladder removal, hernia repair and colorectal surgery. She is also the Director of Robotic Surgery at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn.

He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, University Park as a Bunton-Waller fellow, with a Bachelor of Science in 1999. He received his medical degree from the Howard University College of Medicine, Washington D.C., in 2004. Dr. Hall completed his surgical residency in 2009 at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, University Hospital in 2010.

He joined the surgical faculty at SUNY Stony Brook as an Assistant Professor of Surgery specializing in Trauma/Critical Care. In 2011, he returned to Brooklyn to join Advantage Care Physicians as a Surgical Attending. In 2013, he became Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center.

Born in Queens from Jamaican parents, Brian is very proud and humbled to serve the Brooklyn community. He is a proud husband, and father of 3 beautiful children. It has been his life long dream to provide quality surgical care to the people of Brooklyn.

A graduate of St. Francis College with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Mercy College, Ruth also holds an ACLS and BLS Certifications from the American Heart Association.
