Summer Sharaf

Chief Executive Officer

Summer Sharaf brings over 20 years of extensive executive leadership experience in managing high-growth, multi-facility, multidisciplinary healthcare organizations. Most recently, Ms. Sharaf has served as Director of Operations for Vantage Oncology’s New York Treatment Centers, one of the nation’s leading radiation and oncology organizations, providing non-clinical support and management services to NYC based practice offices and facilities.

Vantage Oncology is a top provider of high quality, community-based cancer care through 50 treatment facilities in 13 states and in conjunction with more than 200 physician partners and affiliates across their network. As their RDO, Ms. Sharaf provided exceptional leadership and managed Vantage’s entire NYC network, including creating and implementing the region’s culture, communications, infrastructure and compliance.

She was also instrumental in expanding that region’s medical practice management base, managing and supporting aggressive organic and inorganic growth initiatives, bolstering that region into a multidisciplinary organization that now includes medical oncology, urology and surgery.

 

Anthony Urbano

Chief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer, Mr. Urbano, who was a practicing CPA for years, is responsible for the company’s financial functions, including accounting, treasury and corporate finance. He also oversees and manages human resources and facilities activities. His career spans more than 30 years of varied experience in accounting, financial management, business leadership, and operational and corporate strategy.

Mr. Urbano has provided strong executive leadership within a variety of industries for entrepreneurial and high-growth companies, including medical, chemical, manufacturing, emerging technology, restructuring and turnaround initiatives, financial markets and data reporting, and media/entertainment.

Mr. Urbano also has extensive experience in the management and direction of cash/profitability forecasting activities, budgeting, implementation of financial reporting structures, financial analyses, evaluation and recommendations of company information systems, sales and marketing initiatives, audit support, infrastructures, traditional and alternative financing, information technology, cost and debt reduction initiatives, restructuring and strategic planning.

Mr. Urbano holds a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from St. John’s University – College of Business Administration and has passed the Certified Public Account exam.

 

Pradeep Albert, MD

Director of Radiology/Board Member

A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, Pradeep Albert, MD, obtained his bachelor of science, graduating magna cum laude, before attending SUNY at Syracuse Health Science Center, earning his doctor of medicine degree in 1997.

Dr. Albert completed his internship in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and his residency in radiology at St. Vincent's Hospital, New York, NY. He completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the University of California at San Diego in 2003. In 2002, Dr. Albert was the recipient of the RSNA National Research Award.

 

Shaik Ali, MD

Director of Cardiology

Shaik Ali is a diligent and engaging internist and cardiologist serving the communities of South Richmond Hill and Hicksville in New York. Dr. Ali earned his medical degree from the Rangaraya Medical College in India. He accomplished both his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. Dr. Ali is certified in internal medicine and cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to his private medical practice, Dr. Ali also founded and serves as president of the New York State Elite Accountable Care Organization, which represents over 120 doctors in New York. He also holds admitting privileges at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, the Lenox Hill Hospital, and the Mercy Medical Center. Patients see Dr. Ali for a variety of reasons, including high blood pressure, heart issues, and other cardiovascular dysfunctions. He also offers an extensive catalogue of services, such as carotid Doppler tests, stent consultations, echocardiograms, and other blood work. His dedication to his patients is paralleled only by his commitment to bettering his community through service projects. As a result, he is the proud recipient of a community service award from Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s office in City Hall. Dr. Ali is also fluent in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Urdu.

 
 

Jeffrey S. Aronoff, MD

Director of Colorectal Surgery

Jeffrey S. Aronoff, M.D. is board-certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery and General Surgery. He received a BA in biology from Rutgers University where he was a Henry Rutgers Scholar, an MS in physiology from Georgetown University, and his Medical Degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

He did his internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and completed his residency in general surgery at the State University of New York Downstate. His Fellowship was completed in colon and rectal surgery at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center (Penn State University).

Dr. Aronoff presently is an attending physician in Colon and Rectal surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital. He is actively involved in teaching residents, medical students, and physician assistants.

Dr. Aronoff’s practice is dedicated to the treatment of both benign and malignant disease of the colon, rectum, and anus. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery. He has authored many peer review articles, and several book chapters. He is annually selected as a patients’ choice physician award recipient and a compassionate physician award recipient.

Dr. Aronoff is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.

 

Sherman Chan, MD

Director of Urology

Dr. Sherman Chan is a board certified urologist practicing in New York City.  He completed his medical education at SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, NY with Distinction in Research and his surgical and urology training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.  He has been in private practice since 2011 in New York City and Long Island.  He maintains privileges at Gramercy Surgery Center where he serves at the Director of Urology at the Queens location, Maimonides Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital, NYU Langone Hospital, and the One Brooklyn Health System and affiliated hospitals. 

He treats patients for a variety of urologic conditions including benign and malignant diseases of the urinary tract, elevated PSA, Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH), kidney stones, voiding dysfunction, hypogonadism, infertility, erectile dysfunction and male reproductive health.  He is an expert in prosthetic urology for the treatment of sexual and erectile dysfunction and incontinence.  He has been designated a Urolift Center of Excellence for his expertise and outstanding outcomes in the treatment of BPH. 

Dr. Chan offers diagnostic testing including ultrasounds, blood and urine analyses, and procedures such as Urolift, vasectomy, cystoscopy and circumcision in the comfort of the office.  Dr. Chan is up to date with the latest technologies and treatments and is known for his depth of knowledge, clinical acumen, surgical outcomes and his outstanding bedside manner.  He is a member of professional organizations such as The American Board of Urology, The American Medical Association, The Medical Society of the State of New York and The Queens County Medical Society.  

 

Paul Gliedman, MD

Medical Director, Vantage Health

Dr. Gliedman brings over two decades of experience as an attending physician at Mount Sinai Health System. Previously, he served as the Director of Radiation Oncology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Brooklyn and as an attending physician at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospitals in New York City.

Before joining Continuum Cancer Centers – Mount Sinai Health System, Dr. Gliedman was a director of radiation oncology at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Dr. Gliedman has extensive experience in managing cancer of the prostate, breast, lung, central nervous system, and gastrointestinal cancers. He has developed active cancer programs in prostate radioactive send implantation (Brachytherapy) and stereotactic radiosurgery.

 

Brian Hall, MD, FACS

Director of Surgery

Dr. Brian Hall is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, University Park as a Bunton-Waller fellow, with a Bachelor of Science in 1999. He received his medical degree from the Howard University College of Medicine, Washington D.C., in 2004. Dr. Hall completed his surgical residency in 2009 at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, University Hospital in 2010.

He joined the surgical faculty at SUNY Stony Brook as an Assistant Professor of Surgery specializing in Trauma/Critical Care. In 2011, he returned to Brooklyn to join Advantage Care Physicians as a Surgical Attending. In 2013, he became Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center.

Born in Queens from Jamaican parents, Brian is very proud and humbled to serve the Brooklyn community. He is a proud husband, and father of 3 beautiful children. It has been his life long dream to provide quality surgical care to the people of Brooklyn.

 
 

Muhammad Kafeel, MD

Medical Director, Hematology & Medical Oncology

Board-Certified Hematologist and Medical Oncologist, Muhammad Imran Kafeel, has two decades of experience in providing individualized, compassionate cancer care to patients in the New York area. Dr. Kafeel has been distinguished as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and recognized in the Guide to American’s top Physicians. He is a renowned linguist and has volunteered his multilingual medical expertise to humanitarian missions such as the Disaster Relief fund. Additionally, Dr. Kafeel has extensive research experience, and has published medical investigations of topics integral to the patient treatment and recovery experience.

 

Hady Kheder, MD

Director, Internal Medicine/Board Member

As a primary care physician, Dr. Kheder works closely with his patients using a multidisciplinary approach to identify and treat a wide array of health concerns. He takes a preventative care approach with cancer screening and routine/travel vaccinations, while also managing a wide range of conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, thyroid problems, and medical clearance.
